Mynor Valasquez, 39 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he shot a 40 year-old woman at a home on Cleveland Avenue.

Police said that Valasquez shot the victim in the hand, which resulted in “the victim to lose use of her hand”.

Reports added that Valasquez drove from the scene without a valid driver’s license.  It was also discovered that he was in possession of an ID with a fake date of birth.

Velasquez is charged with aggravated assault, aggravated battery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, driving without license, and unlawful possession of fraudulent documents.
