Romero Ear Lundy Sr, 36 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he beat a woman over the head with a wooden cross.
Police said that the victim suffered a visible swollen knot and a visible cut with bleeding to her left side of her head.
Reports added that Lundy also called 911 and threatened to kill the victim. Lundy said that he wanted the victim removed from his home and if the police dos not arrest her they would be “scraping that bit** off the fuc*** ground”. Lundy futher said he was going to “fu** her up and kill her”.
The incident occurred at a home on Blankenship Place.
Lundy is charged with battery and terroristic threats/acts.
