David Thomas Pruitt, 59 of Rome, was arrested this week after repots said he molested a child under the age of 16 between June 1 2024 and August 31 2024.
Reports said that Pruitt attempted to arouse himself by placing his hands under the victim’s shirt and fondling her breast. Reports added that he is also accused of rubbing his sexual organ against her back and buttocks.
Police went on to say that when the victim attempted to run away, Pruitt shoved her onto the floor.
Pruitt is charged with two counts child molestation and 1st degree cruelty to children.
