Cherokee County deputies were conducting extra patrol in the Berea community after receiving complaints about drug activity.

While in the area, the deputy noticed a driver not wearing a seat belt and made a traffic stop.

During the stop, the deputy found a trafficking amount of methamphetamine and other illegal drugs.

Latrisha Mobbs, 40, of Cedar Bluff, was arrested and charged with:

  • Trafficking Methamphetamine

  • Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree
  • Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
