Jacob Dewayne Douglas, 37 of Cedartown, was arrested in Rome after reports said he committed identity fraud.
Reports said that during a traffic stop on Ga 1 near Lewis Road, Douglas provided police with another person’s identity as his own. Police added that Lewis did so to avoid arrest because he was driving on a suspended license.
Douglas is charged with identity fraud and two counts probation violation.
