David Eugene Redden, 65 of Lindale, was arrested this week after reports said he lied to police while being questioned at his home on Teat Street.
Police said that that they were attempting to take Redden into custody for a probation violation when he lied about his identity. Reports stated that Redden gave then a fake name and date of birth when asked about his identity.
Redden is charged with giving false information to police, parole violation and probation violation.
