Arien Gage Gray, 29 of Leesburg, was arrested this week after a 911 caller reported a man who should not have been on the property. The caller also said he had set a vehicle on fire and threatened to burn the house.
Reports said that the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office said Gray had started a small fire at the rear of his own vehicle. Meanwhile, firefighters staged nearby until law enforcement officers secured the scene.
When cleared to enter, firefighters found the vehicle was not burning, according to Leesburg Fire Chief Joe Sonaty.
The Sheriff’s Office also described Gray as belligerent and said deputies arrested him after investigating.
Gray is charged with third-degree domestic violence involving harassment.
