Chrissie Ann Wells, 49 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she stole 11 boxes of crab legs from Kroger.
Reports stated that Wells entered the store on two different occasions. Police said that the first time she loaded her buggy with 5 boxes and then exited the store without paying. She then returned to the store and placed 6 boxes in her buggy and left again without paying.
The total value of the crab legs was listed at $659.
The incident occurred on August 18th.
Wells is charged with felony theft by shoplifting.
