Alexis Nichole Scofield, 24 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said she neglected her children.
Reports said that Scofield allowed her 2- and 3-year-old children to roam outside the home alone.
Officers added that one of the children was found nude and the other wearing a soiled diaper.
Scofield is charged with 2nd degree cruelty to children.
