New Charge Added to Aragon Man Jailed for Striking, Killing Woman with Car

A 32 year-old Aragon man, Drake Ladon Keef, is facing new charges after allegedly striking and killing a woman with his car on Chulio Road.

In addition to the previous charges of aggravated battery, hit and run, driving on a suspended license and probation violation, Keef is now charged with vehicular homicide,

Drake Ladon Keef, 32 of Aragon, was captured after a manhunt this week following his alleged striking and killing of a woman with his car on Chulio Road.

Reports said that Keef used his vehicle in an “offensive and malicious manner” when he struck Stevie Marie Thompson on August 22^nd. Police said that Keef then fled the scene, leaving Thompson with serious bodily injury, broken bones, and unconscious.

Police added that Keef was driving on a suspended license at the time of the incident.

Thompson later succumbed to her injuries.

Keef is charged with aggravated battery, hit and run, driving on a suspended license and probation violation.
