Patricia Katherine Gonzalez, 52 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she attacked and caused physical injury to her granddaughter.
Reports said that Gonzalez grabbed the child by the hair and pulled her down to the ground with it. Gonzalez is then accused of grabbing the victim’s arm, leaving visible injuries.
The incident occurred at their home on Tency Lane.
Gonzalez is charged with simple battery and 1st degree cruelty to children.
