Adam Lee Elrod, 47 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he violated a conditional bond prohibiting him from harassing, threatening or having violent contract with a 50 year-old woman.
Reports said that Elrod sent the woman 30 messages on Facebook in a span of 7 hours.
Police stated that the victim did respond, making it clear that she did not want to speak with him and wanted to be left alone.
Officers went on to say that when they informed Elrod that he was under arrested, he pulled away and had to be taken to the ground so that they could handcuff him.
Elrod is charged with two counts obstruction and violation of bond.
