Floyd County Deputy Chase Erupts After Convicted Sex Offender Allegedly Violates Release Terms

A convicted sex offender, Trenton Tyrice Williamson,35 of Lindale, was arrested this week after reports said he violated the terms of his release.

Reports said that Williamson provided false information on his sex offender documents back on August 17^th.   He is then accused of later failing to report his residential move within 72 hours in early September.

A Floyd County Sheriff’s Deputy added that after locating Williamson on Maple Road, he fled on foot and refused to stop, leading to a foot chase.

Williamson is charged with two counts failure to register as a sex offender and obstruction of law enforcement.
