Isabella Ruth Arnold, 26 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested in Rome after reports said she fought with officers during a traffic stop on SR 20 at Huffaker Road.
Police said that Arnold was stopped for operating a car with an expired license plate and was found to not have insurance.
A search then resulted in officers finding two THC vapes and a bag of marijuana in her possession. While being taken into custody, Arnold is accused of refusing to obey commands by not wanting to place her hands behind her back. She is also accused of pulling away from police.
Arnold is charged with obstruction of law enforcement, possession of a schedule I controlled substance, possession of marijuana, operation of an unregistered vehicle, and driving without insurance.
