Ida Mae Pension, 78 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she barricaded herself into a bedroom of a home on Turkey Mountain Road during the execution of a search warrant.
Police said that Pension refused to follow lawful commands to come out of the room.
Officers added that search of the home resulted in them locating marijuana and a smoking device.
Pension is charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug related object and obstruction of law enforcement.
