16 Kittens Found Abandoned at Rome Church, Woman Arrested

Itzhel Guadalupe Reyes-Cruz, 23 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she abandoned 16 three- to four-week-old kittens at Shorter Avenue Baptist Church.

Reports stated that the kittens were found inside a cardboard box on August 8^th.

Reyes-Cruz is charged with 16 counts of abandonment of animals.
