Terrie Abrams, age 73, of Rome, Georgia, passed away peacefully in August 10, 2026. Born on February 14, 1953, in Jasper, Georgia, Terrie was the daughter of the late Vera Brown. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose life was centered around those she loved.
Terrie is survived by her children, Kristi Abrams, April (John) Garrett, Tim Abrams, Matthew Abrams, and Adam Abrams; her grandchildren, Josalynn Garrett, Sherrydan (Luke) Reynolds, Anslee Abrams, Brylee Abrams, Kynlee Abrams, Charlotte Garrett, Luke Garrett, and Kasen; her great-grandchild, Adalynn; her brothers, John (Debbie) Brown and Kenneth Brown; her sister, Kathy Brown; and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her mother, Terrie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Edwin Abrams, and her brother, Alan Sanders.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Beech Creek Cemetery.
