Ketia Pascal, 45 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she assaulted another woman at a home on Marshall Lane.
Police said that Pascal placed her hands around the victim’s throat and squeezed to the point that she could no longer breathe.
Pascal is then accused of slapping a child with a belt before locking them out of the home.
She is also accused of slapping the child repeatedly with an open hand.
Pascal is charged with aggravated assault, battery, first degree cruelty to children and second degree cruelty to children.
