Emily Alysee Broome, 37, was arrested after authorities said she entered The Summerville News office, removed most of her clothing and then refused multiple requests to leave the property.

According to a reports, a deputy was sent to the business at 20 Wildlife Lake following a report of a woman who would not leave. An employee reportedly told the deputy that Broome had been involved in similar behavior in the Summerville area earlier that morning. The employee said Broome entered the newspaper office and took off her clothing, leaving herself dressed in underwear and a sports bra.

Employees allegedly asked Broome several times to leave the building, but she refused, according to the report.

When the deputy arrived, Broome was reportedly wearing a black hoodie and appeared to be without pants. She told the deputy that she had permission to be at the business and said she had been allowed to pick up free newspapers.

Employees disputed that account and told the deputy they wanted Broome formally criminally trespassed from the property.

Broome was charged with disorderly conduct.
