Randy E Love, 63 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he impersonated a police officer at the East Rome Walmart.
Reports said that Love was found acting in a tumultuous manner before making a fist and pulling it back while being placed in custody.
Officers added that Love proceeded to identify himself as a “cop with the Cherokee County Task Force”.
Reports added that the incident began when Love obstructed the investigation of a wreck.
Love is charged with disorderly conduct, impersonating a public officer and obstruction.
