An inmate at the Floyd County Jail, Christopher Martinez Cammick, 26 of Clarkston , is facing new charges after reports said he attacked a jail officer.
Report said that Cammick placed a deputy in a chokehold until he could no longer breathe.
Cammick is then accused of refusing to place his hands behind his back.
He is charged with aggravated assault on a police officer, unlawful acts in a penal institution and obstruction, all felonies.
