Tonya Nichole Turner, 42 of Lindale, was arrested this week after reports said she shoved her 71 year-old father.
Reports added that Turner then proceeded to break several glass items belonging to the victim by throwing them at a wall.
Police went on to say that a 12 year-old child witnessed the incident, which occurred at a home on Alexander Avenue.
Officers also said that Turner was highly intoxicated when they arrived at the scene.
Turner is charged with simple battery, criminal trespass, third-degree cruelty to children and probation violation.
