The Bartow County Lions Club will host its 14th Annual Pros vs. Joes BBQ Cook-Off on Saturday, Sept. 19, at the Dellinger Park track and football field.

The annual event will bring together barbecue teams from across the region to compete in several categories while raising support for the Bartow County Lions Club’s community service efforts.

Competition is free to enter, with teams competing in traditional pork and rib categories. Pulled pork will be featured in the People’s Choice competition, giving attendees an opportunity to sample entries and vote for their favorite. Organizers also announced that the event’s Wild Card competition is now sponsored, allowing all competitors to participate in the specialty category.

The Lions Club is currently accepting registrations from barbecue teams, vendors and event sponsors. Sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses and organizations interested in supporting the event.

Additional information, including sponsor applications, vendor registration and competitor registration forms, is available through the Bartow County Lions Club.

The Pros vs. Joes BBQ Cook-Off has become an annual tradition in Bartow County, bringing together barbecue enthusiasts, local businesses and community members for a day of food, friendly competition and fundraising.
