A Lindale man, Joshua Riordan, is facing a felony aggravated assault charge after authorities say he placed his hands around another person’s neck during an incident late last month.
,According to reports Riordan the alleged assault occurred on June 30, 2026, at a residence on Avenue D in Lindale.
Police said that Riordan “put his hands around the victim’s neck and squeezed, stopping the victim’s airway,” leaving the individual unable to breathe.
