Tamara Mechel Glanton, 43 of Rome, was arrested at Tamassee Lane after police say she took a bottle of prescribed medication from an elderly man.
Reports say Glanton took pregabalin from the victim, and without the medication, it causes physical and mental pain due to his disability.
Glanton is charged with elder abuse and theft by taking.
