Crystal Diane Carter, 45 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she stole $802 in cash from a store on Garden Lakes Blvd.
Police said that Carter took the cash from behind the counter of the business and put it into four different gambling machines.
Carter is charged with theft by taking.
