Cristian Dakota Lee, of Fairmont, was arrested this week after reports said he punched a man twice with a closed fist during a verbal altercation with the suspect’s grandmother.
Police said that the victim suffered visible swelling under his left eye and a bloody nose.
Reports added that Lee fled the scene after the attack, but later turned himself in.
Lee reached out to Coosa Valley News and said that he beat up the victim because he told his grandmother to “shut the fu** up”.
Lee is charged with battery.
