Mr. Benjamin Shane Kelley, age 48, of Cedartown, GA, passed away Saturday June 20, 2026, with his loving family by his side.
Mr. Kelley was born June 24, 1977, in Rockmart, the son of Mrs. Debra Wilson and Mr. Keith Wigley. After high school, Mr. Kelley made his living as a forklift operator but found his true calling as a devoted family man. Family was always important to Shane, whether it was taking care of his family or filling his friends with laughter or anything in between. Many will remember Shane for his humor and perfectly-timed witty jokes could split sides of anyone who heard him.
Known also for his deep appreciation of hobbies, Shane was an avid music fan and spent countless hours enjoying his favorite artists and sharing them with his friends and family. He also deeply enjoyed comic book and watching movies. Above all, he was known for always being there when he was needed, a trait his family and friends will always cherish.
Mr. Kelley is preceded in death by his infant son, Sebastian Liam Kelley.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Delray Kelley; children, Jacob Kelley, Aiden Kelley, and Helena Kelley; mother, Debra Wilson; siblings, Wendy Hammonds, Nicole Rose, as well as several additional brothers and sisters.
In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Kelley will be cremated and his family will conduct a memorial gathering of friends on Wednesday June 24, 2026, between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. at Litesey Funeral Home. All are welcome to attend a share memories of Shane.
