Charles E France, 62 of Lindale, was arrested this week after reports said he imprisoned and assaulted a 47 year-old woman during a dispute at a home on Old Cedartown Road.
Reports said that France grabbed the victim by the arm and pulled her back into a room of the home and blocked the door, preventing her from leaving.
Police added that France then proceeded to grab the victim by the throat. France then grabbed a second victim by the throat and choked them as well.
The incident reportedly occurred in the presence of a 10 year-old child.
France is charged with two counts of aggravated assault, simple battery, false imprisonment, and 3rd degree cruelty to children.
