A half-naked 55 year-old Silver Creek man, Paul Jay Osborne Jr, who was reportedly high on meth was arrested this week after reports said he threatened to kill Floyd County Water Department employees.
Police said that they were dispatched to Donahoo road where multiple water department employees stated that the suspected wanted to “fight them” and “whoop their asses” and even “kill one employee”. Osborne reportedly chased that victim, a 24 year-old man, on foot.
Officers later found Osborne “half-naked, soaking wet and under the influence of drugs” at 743 Donahoo Road. When they attempted to take him into custody Osborne refused to place his hands behind his back before a struggle ensued.
Osborne is charged with simple assault, terroristic threats/acts, disorderly conduct, public drunk and obstruction.
