Matthew Dillon Hayes, 30 of Fairmont, was arrested in Floyd County after reports said he attacked a woman at her home on Erin Court in Kingston.
Reports said that Hayes shoved the woman into the bathroom, knocking her down. The victim reportedly suffered visible injuries to her leg and elbow from the attack.
Hayes is charged with battery and obstruction of a person making a 911 call.
