A Summerville man faces multiple charges after police said he twice fled from officers following a trespassing incident at a Martha Berry Boulevard home. According to reports, Michael David Brown, 37, was arrested this week after officers responded to 1413 Martha Berry Blvd. on Sunday in reference to a criminal trespass complaint. Police said Brown entered the property despite previously being warned by the owner to stay away.

When officers attempted to make contact, Brown allegedly fled the scene on foot and ignored commands to stop. Authorities said he initially avoided capture.

Reports stated Brown was located again on Wednesday, when he allegedly attempted to run from officers a second time. This time, police were able to take him into custody without further incident.

Brown was charged with two counts of criminal trespass and two counts of obstruction.
