Becky Charlene Wigley, 40 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she failed to send her children to school.
Reports said that Wigley’s child missed 18 unexcused days of school this year. Reports said that Wigley was notified of the truancy issues in February, but failed to correct the problems.
A second child of Wigley’s reportedly missed 34 unexcused days of school. This truancy notice was given back last October.
Wigley is charged with two counts mandatory education of children.
