Jose Manuel Contreras, 21 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he attacked the mother of his child and threatened to beat up another man.
Reports said that Contreras damaged the victim’s windshield with his fist. Police added that the victim and Contreras live together and share a child. He is then accused of shoving the woman to the ground while threatening to “beat the ass” of another man.
Reports said that the attack occurred at their home on East 14th Street.
Contreras is charged with simple battery, criminal trespass and terroristic threats/acts.
