Groceries are being distributed at Journey Community Food Pantry on Wednesday May 20, 2026. 10 – 12 and 1 – 5 pm. Several pounds of meat and deli, fruit, vegetables, breads, desserts, canned and dry goods will be distributed to each household. We have a variety of vitamins and coffee as well. Groceries are now distributed based on ‘verified’ household size.
Client’s MUST bring their photo ID with a copy of their utility bill, medical bill or piece of government mail, dated within the past two months to receive food. No junk mail. Address on ID and mail must match.
Journey is also distributing additional food bags (including meats) for EACH verified child in the household. Social security cards or a school record for the child can be used for verification. PLEASE come prepared with the appropriate ID & mail.
You are encouraged to share this ad with families that need food assistance and please remember to let them know what ID and mail they need to bring with them to receive the food.
HOUSEHOLDS CAN BE SERVED ONCE PER MONTH. Journey Community Food Pantry currently serves residents of Floyd & Chattooga County Georgia and Cherokee Alabama.
