Casey Daniel Raines, 34 of Calhoun, was arrested in Rome after reports said he was found in possession of cocaine during a traffic stop on Highway 293 near Wilshire Road.
Police said that they stopped Raines for using his cell phone while driving when a K9 officer alerted to the vehicle. A search then resulted in officers finding crack cocaine and a glass smoking device.
Raines is charged with possession of cocaine, possession of drug related objects and distracted hands free driving law violation.
