Ashley Denise Patterson, 35 of Rome, was found with drugs inside the Floyd County Jail while being booked into custody for make false statements.
Reports said that after arriving at the jail, Patterson was found in possession of suspected Clonazepam. The pill was found past the guard line when she was being dressed out. The drug was found in her underwear.
Patterson is charged with false statements and writings, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, possession of drugs by an inmate, and two counts probation violation.
