Daniel Tyrice Washington, 37 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he lied to police about his identity during a traffic stop.
Police said that after stopping Washington on E2nd Avenue they said that he had been driving under the influence of alcohol.
During the stop, Washington allegedly gave his mother’s driver’s license as his own. His identity was later discovered and that he had been driving on a suspended license.
Tyrice is charged with DUI, driving on a suspended license, giving false information to police, manufacturing a ID mark with trademark and failure to maintain lane.
