A jury in Gordon County has convicted Christopher Allan Summers, 31 of Resaca, on 16 sexual offense charges involving a juvenile, according to the Office of the District Attorney.
The charges stemmed from incidents between September 2024 and June 2025 across multiple jurisdictions. Summers was arrested in June 2025 following an investigation by the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office and the Calhoun Police Department, and later indicted by a grand jury.
After a weeklong trial and about three hours of deliberation, jurors returned guilty verdicts on all counts.
Summers was sentenced to life in prison, with the first 30 years to be served in custody.
