Ninfa Castillo Edwards, 60 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she allegedly scammed a Silver Creek company out of money.
Reports said that Edwards, who is a contractor, obtained $200 to complete a roofing job and never performed the work. The agreement had been signed in November 2022.
Edwards is charged with conversion of real payments and failure to appear.
