Michael Anthony Davis, 52 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he illegally entered a home on Hobson Way and attacked a 41-year-old man.
Reports said that Davis had been banned from the home before returning and attacking the resident.
The victim told police that Davis jumped over a counter and lunged at him, placing him in fear for his life.
Davis is charged with simple assault and criminal trespass.
