Reginald Clay Barnett, 59 of Cedartown, was arrested recently after reports said he attacked a woman at the A-1 Hotel.
Reports said that Barnett went to the victim’s room and refused to let her leave. After being able to escape, Barnett grabbed the victim by the hair and threw her to the ground. He then proceeded to allegedly hit her repeatedly.
The victim suffered visible injuries to her both of her arms.
Reports added that while on the way to the jail Barnett began to bang his head on the back partition.
Barnett is charged with aggravated assault, false imprisonment and battery.
