Terry Wayne McWhorter, 46 of Trion, was arrested in Floyd County after reports said he left a large dump on Sike Story Road.
Reports said that McWhorter cleaned out a storage unit and dumped multiple items onto the property and then left. Reports stated that McWhorter bought a storage unit in Gordon County that had been auctioned off due to non-payment, loaded the bed of his truck with the items, drove to Sikes Story Road, and dumped the items onto the property.
Police said that items left on the scene included furniture, trash and old case files from a law enforcement agency.
McWhorter is charged with illegal dumping.
