Manuel Guzman-Reyes, 32 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he struck a power pole while driving intoxicated.
Police said that Guzman-Reyes then failed to report the accident.
Guzman-Reyes is charged with DUI, failure to maintain lane and duty upon striking a fixture.
