Mrs. Lindsay Nicole Twilley Clayton, age 44, of Silver Creek, GA, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at a local hospital.
Lindsay was born in Rome, GA on May 13, 1981, daughter of Robert “Bobby” Twilley and Debra “Debbie” Toles. She was a graduate of Coosa High School and went on to earn her Doctorate degree from Mercer University. She loved dancing, Elvis, and her dogs. Lindsay was a very kind soul and was very fun-loving; she had the most contagious laugh. She will be deeply missed.
Lindsay was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Ruth Tierce and Gladys Childress; and her fur baby, Tallie Mae.
Survivors include her husband of 6 years, Corey Clayton; her father, Bobby Twilley (Dody); her mother, Debbie Toles (Ken); her brother Nathan Twilley (Lincee Powell and her daughter, Harleigh Ann Coogler); her step siblings, Kristy Browne (John), Misty Gann, and Cole Burden (Caleb Dicky); her in laws, Bob and Anita Clayton; her sister-in-law, Trudy Murdock (Greg); her nieces and nephews, Lindsay Hamby, Jay Hamby, Jared Murdock, Miles Shepherd, and Davis Shepherd.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 10:00am until 12:00pm, at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel. In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated.
