Mrs. Jhaylan Redwine Mullis, age 26, of Silver Creek, GA, entered her heavenly home on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her family.
Jhaylan was born in Rome, GA, on February 12, 1999. She was preceded in death by grandmother, Mary Jane Anthony Ellis, her great-grandmother, Geraldine Anthony, and by her great-aunt, Nancy Anthony Donaldson. Jhaylan was a graduate of Model High School, where she was crowned the Home Coming Queen, and went on to receive her RN from Gadsden State Community College. She was currently working as an RN at Advent Health-Redmond Hospital and was just a few clinicals shy of earning her BSN. She was a veteran of the Army National Guard and a faithful member of HIS Church.
Jhaylan embodied resilience and determination while charging a path to a future dedicated to healing and service. She worked three jobs while she attended nursing school and was an active member of the National Guard when she was diagnosed with cancer, but not even that could slow her down. She was always a hard worker and extremely goal oriented even in the midst of her health battles. Jhaylan was a ray of sunshine in a dark world. She constantly sought out the outcast or unfriended to make them feel loved. Jhaylan loved deeply and fiercely and would do anything for her family. Her captivating smile and personality captured every room she walked in to. Above all she loved Jesus and is now worshipping at the feet of her Lord and Savior for eternity.
Survivors include her husband, Nicholas Mullis, Silver Creek, to whom she was married on September 27, 2025; 3 siblings, Chrystan Mendez (Javier), Keson Lovingood, and Braxton Redwine; her mother, Nekicia Redwine; aunt, Robbie Redwine; her parents-in-law, Stacey and Michael Mullis; brother-in-law, Lucas Mullis; grandfather, Ronell “Paw-paw” Redwine (Denese); great-grandmother, Mable Boone; a host of aunts, cousins and extended family.
