A Chattooga County man was taken into custody following a reported domestic disturbance that authorities say involved phone calls to two nearby homes.
An arrest report identifies the suspect as 39-year-old Ross Ladon Palmer, who was charged with simple assault.
According to the report, deputies responded to a residence on Kay Drive in reference to a domestic-related call, with another location on Fields Walk also connected to the investigation. Officers spoke with multiple individuals linked to the incident, and the accounts of what occurred differed among those involved.
The report states that Palmer was later located at a separate address. Investigators noted that additional follow-up was anticipated, including reviewing any available video footage, before determining how the case would proceed.
