Adam Bartley Carr, 45 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he slammed a 46 year-old man on the ground, causing severe injury.
Police said that the victim’s head hit a stack of concrete pavers before striking him multiple times in the head.
The victim reportedly suffered a disfigured face from the altercation on Juniper Drive.
Carr is charged with simple battery and aggravated battery.
