Jasper “Lamar” Fowler Sr., age 80, of Silver Creek

Jasper “Lamar” Fowler Sr., age 80, of Silver Creek, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

     Born on January 1, 1945, in Ringgold, Georgia, Lamar was the son of the late Jasper Fowler and Thelma Ruth Poteet. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by six siblings.

     Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Sue Ellen Littlejohn Fowler; his children, Jasper Lamar Fowler Jr. (Wendy) and Ginger Suzanne Conway; his grandchildren, Selena East (Jeremy), Tory Fowler, Deanna Messick (Travis), Kristen Conway, and Justin Conway (Kaylee); his great-grandchildren, Jaxton East, Addison Collins, Arabella Messick, Brantley Fowler, and Gunner Fowler; as well as numerous beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.

     A graveside service will be held at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Floyd Memory Gardens in Rome, Georgia, officiated by Chris Byers.
