Jeremy Daniel Green, 50 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found with drugs and paraphernalia during a traffic stop on Anderson Street.
Officers said that they originally stopped Green after they observed him driving on a suspended registration. It was then discovered that he had been driving without insurance.
While taking Green into custody, police said that they found a schedule I substance, needles and bowls used to smoke drugs.
Green is charged with possession of a schedule I controlled substance, possession of drug related objects, driving without insurance and driving on a suspended registration.
